HSE Engineer

Job Requirement:

• Implement and monitor compliance with the HSE management system in accordance with Goldwind’s policies and local legal requirements.

• Guide and coordinate with contractors to ensure all safety measures are properly executed on-site.

• Conduct regular risk assessments, investigate incidents/accidents, identify root causes, and propose corrective and preventive actions.

• Work closely with the HR department to identify training needs and deliver HSE training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

• Track and analyze project HSE performance indicators (e.g., safe man-hours, incidents, near misses, etc.).

• Oversee proper waste management, hazardous material handling, and environmental protection practices on-site.

• Maintain and verify emergency response plans; organize regular drills to ensure site readiness.

• Liaise with local authorities and external organizations on HSE matters when required

Qualification: 

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in wind power, renewable energy, or large-scale industrial projects.

• Good understanding of international HSE standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.

• Possession of NEBOSH certification or equivalent international HSE qualifications is a plus.

• Strong communication, training, and reporting skills.

• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
