Material Coordinator

POSITION: MATERIAL SUPERVISOR

Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and optimizing service supply chain operations all stakeholders (Site Team, procurement, supply chain, transport, construction) to ensure that materials are purchased and delivered according to the Material plan (schedule, delivery location, and budget) for Goldwind Argentina Projects.

Responsibilities/ Duties include:

· Work along with operational stakeholders to set and maintain the material procurement plan.

· Analyze inventory data to forecast future demand.

· Manage warehousing costs and seek ways to reduce operational expenses. Measure and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations.

· Purchase Orders (PO) creation for direct materials through Material Requirements Planning.

· Follow up with Supply Chain team from purchase order issuance to delivery, invoicing and PO closing

· Responsible for allocating the Purchase Order (PO) cost to the correct budget activity, in coordination with Finance Controller.

· Ensure that SAP system is updated with most up-to-date information

Qualifications & Experience

· University/bachelor’s degree.

· 3 - 5 years' work experience in procurement, buying, construction, service or other related supply chain management fields.

· Previous experience with Vendor / Subcontractor management

· Wind Industry experience preferred, including familiarity with supply base

· Advanced interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

· Solution oriented, problem solver

· Sound knowledge with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

· Sound knowledge and experience with SAP.

· Availability for occasional travel.

· Good English skills, both written and spoken.

· Enjoy working in cross-cultural teams and communicating with various stakeholders
