Overview:

Responsible for the implementation of HSE management and risk identification, the preparation of HSE protection measures while preparing operation plans, and the supervision of HSE training for employees. Ensure the HSE system be implemented properly; achieve the HSE KPIs, handle the critical risk controls or difficult solutions; team management and competence assurance; assist reginal QHSE manager for local affair settlement.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in establishing the local HSE management system in accordance with local applicable laws and regulations and the company's HSE system.
  2. Implement HSE management system in local level and provide records, find gaps and give improvement suggestions.
  3. Implement region compliance assessment and dynamically monitor the changes.
  4. Identify risks of region HSE activities, formulate regional-level risk control measures, and evaluate the implementation of the measures.
  5. Organize or conduct HSE training for employees based on training requirement, enhance employees HSE competence and awareness, encourage them actively participate in HSE.
  6. Assist to Carry out the HSE system audit and organize the system management review.
  7. Establish emergency response procedure and standard in the region base on ERP.
  8. Report HSE incidents to the headquarters in a timely and truthful manner and organize\participate in HSE accident investigations.
  9. Responsible for the preparation of regional HSE monthly performance reports.
  10. Complete other tasks assigned by leaders.
  11. Assist the regional GM to organize and carry out the work of establishing rules and regulations, hazard identification, inspection and monitoring, incident investigation, safety training, etc., coordinate and support the HSE management of GWI HSE and regional functional departments.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering
  2. 5+ years of proven experience in a supervisory role within the HSE field in electricity, thermal energy, fuel gas, hydraulic power production and supply industries.
  3. Construction safety management, especially high-risk operation management and controls.
  4. Basic ISO knowledge, auditing and inspection skills.
  5. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  8. Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
