Position Overview

In charge of sales strategy and planning execution, bidding process of projects, complete sales orders and payment collection timely to achieve revenue and profit. In charge of market development and continuously promote company brand. Develop and maintain customer resources, identify and meet the customers’ requirements by offering systematic solutions to build a solid relationship.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate sales strategy and targets: collect and sort out the relevant market information and analyze, classify and prioritize customers; make the sales strategy and sales target on the basis of possessed information; break down the target into quarterly or monthly goals and review or adjust execution to meet goals.

Sales, bidding and negotiation: prepare sales and bidding documents; conduct risk identification in the technical, commercial and financial perspectives before bidding.

Foster and maintain good customer relationships: seize every opportunity actively and positively to communicate with customers and obtain business opportunities and trust; provide the customers with constructive suggestions and valuable solutions based on the similar projects experiences; be able to deal with the emergency and respond to customers in quick manners, and inform the customers of the possible risks so as to improve customer’s satisfaction; arrange client visit or road shows accordingly.

Understand and meet the customer demands: interpret customers' real needs comprehensively, accurately and quickly based on the key information obtained and the past experience; provide the most appropriate and favorable solution to customers with the support of R&D, technical, commercial and financial departments.

Market and trend analysis: sort out, analyze and process the market information and feed back to the superiors and corresponding departments; provide input and constructive suggestions for planning of regional market strategy & the product development roadmap and technical innovation.

Coordination on projects: play a key role in coordinating with other departments throughout the entire projects life-cycle, for example, with project managers at project construction and execution stage and with service engineers for service phase; work with finance team to ensure all payment or account receivable/payable.

Reporting and record-keeping.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in sales / business development in industrial /manufacturing business, preferably in wind power industry.
  • Basic knowledge of parameter and performance in wind turbine equipment, basic understanding of wind power industry.
  • Market analysis, customer evaluation, marketing strategies planning and practical skills.
  • Capability of responding and organizing project bidding process.
  • Good logical the organizational skills.
  • Engineering/technical background (electrical equipment or power system background)
  • Good skill in English, Chinese is a plus.
  • Willing for travel.
