HSE Intern

Job Purpose
The HSE Intern will support the GW Asia HSE function with administrative and routine HSE activities, including document control, reporting, data management, and training support. The role provides practical exposure to windfarms health, safety, and environmental management under the guidance of HSE Function
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining HSE records, files, and databases on SP.
- Organize and file HSE documents, reports, certificates, and other HSE records on SP.
- Support document control activities, including updating document registers and revision records.
- Distribute HSE notices, alerts, and communications as required.
- Monitor and maintain reporting data within Viking, Myosh, and CAS systems for Asia projects.
- Maintain records of incidents, near misses, observations, inspection findings, and safety statistics on Viking System
- Assist in preparing periodic Asia HSE reports and presentations.
- Generate simple charts, graphs, and dashboards to support HSE performance reporting.
- Track and update HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:
- HSE inspection/Training and incident close-out rates.
- Safety observations and corrective action closure rates.
- TRIR/SR/PRR/CO2E
- Assist in developing safety posters, awareness materials, and HSE campaign content.
- Attend HSE meetings, training sessions, and site safety walks when required.
- Follow all GWI policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Perform other administrative and support duties assigned by the GW HSE Function.
Qualifications/ Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in:
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Environmental Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Construction Management
- Mechanical Engineering
- Related disciplines
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage documents effectively.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic English communication skills are preferred.
