Financial Supervisor

Finance Supervisor – Goldwind Turkey (Istanbul-based)
About the Role:
We are seeking a Finance Supervisor with strong professional expertise in taxation and financial compliance to join our dynamic team in Turkey. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all financial operations strictly comply with local tax laws and regulations, while supporting regional financial activities and maintaining alignment with our headquarters in China. This role requires advanced knowledge of tax and accounting standards, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•        Ensure full compliance with Turkish financial and tax standards and regulations.
•        Manage and coordinate third-party accounting firms to handle accounting, tax compliance, and annual financial reporting (e.g., AGM preparation) for Goldwind Turkey.
•        Collaborate with headquarters in China to regularly analyze and report financial performance.
•        Operate and maintain the headquarters’ financial software and systems, and support automation and digitalization of the finance processes.
•        Develop and implement financial procedures and compliance guidelines for regional operations in line with corporate standards.
•        Review financial and tax-related contract terms, project budgets, expense reimbursements, and payment processes.
•        Provide compliance and financial advisory support to the local team, aligning group policies with Turkish tax laws.
•        Monitor the entire financial life cycle of projects, including cost control, risk tracking, and profit realization.
•        Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities during audits, inspections, and reporting.
•        Conduct tax analyses and provide optimization strategies for local operations.
•        Maintain effective communication with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
•        Support regional finance and tax activities in other CAMENA countries when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:
•        Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
•        Proficiency in Turkish financial and tax standards and regulations.
•        Advanced proficiency in English (working language).
•        Experience in financial systems and software; knowledge of automation tools preferred.
•        Strong communication and coordination skills.
•        Experience with Big Four accounting firms, Chinese-invested, or multinational companies is a plus.
•        Prior experience with regional or cross-country financial operations will be considered an advantage.
•        Familiarity with local and group tax compliance, transfer pricing, and audit processes.
•        Willingness to travel to other countries in the CAMENA region if required.
