Job Description
The purpose of the Project Planner role is to develop and maintain all project schedules in accordance with the relevant contracts through directly liaising with other business functions, while ensuring the integrity of data
throughout the project life cycle. The Project Planner will also be responsible for carrying out project planning on all allocated projects.
Postion Responsibilities
Draft Program Management Plan and Cost Management Plan;
To draft the project Program and update it based on actual construction progress;
To follow up the actual construction progress and provide solution if the progress falls behind the planned schedule; To review the project time schedule provided by all Subcontractors;
Ensure that all delays or claims are recorded and documented with evidence
Ensure that project progress is updated weekly, and ensure the team has the latest accurate project plan
Compile project quality documentation
Ensure that any project scope changes are incorporated into the project plan
Stay current with applicable department, discipline, and project procedures
Attend courses for continuous professional development as related to the position
Qualification/working experience:
Matric
National Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
3 - 5years related work experience and above
