Trainee Site Technician

Description:

A Trainee Site Technician is a hands-on technical graduate who supports the building and commissioning of wind turbines and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•     Installation Support
•     Assist with assembling turbine components (tower sections, nacelles, blades).
•     Ensure mechanical and electrical systems are installed correctly.
•     Quality & Safety
•     Conduct inspections to verify compliance with engineering standards.
•     Enforce health and safety protocols on-site.
•     Testing & Commissioning
•     Help with electrical testing, cabling, and grid connection.
•     Support turbine commissioning and troubleshooting.
•     Maintenance Preparation
•     Document installation processes for future servicing.
•     Train or hand over knowledge to operations teams.
•     Coordination
•     Work closely with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
•     Report progress and issues to site supervisors.
