Area Service Manager - WA

The reason for this role is:

The Area Service Manager is accountable for the wind and future solar farm warranty, operations and maintenance (WOM) obligations of GWA operating wind and solar farms in Western Australia Region.

What will you be doing?

• Manage the provision of service and maintenance to GWA operating wind and solar farms including HSEQ and compliance requirements in WA.
• Manage obligations of Warranty, Operations and Maintenance (WOM) and Asset Management agreements for GWA operating wind and solar farms.
• Manage personnel involved in the service and maintenance of relevant wind and solar farms.
• Manage and control relevant wind and solar farm budgeted costs and revenue streams.
• Coordinate with inter and intra department for OM, Warranty and Defect Obligations.
• Assist in commercial requirements of warranty, operation and maintenance agreements.
• Assist external and internal auditors in HSEQ audits for relevant wind and solar farms.

What does your background look like?

• 5+ years in line management in a maintenance or heavy maintenance industry.
• Background in the management of trade qualified personnel.
• Specific experience in Health and Safety Management in the Construction Industry or in Utility Operations.
• A solid understanding of HSEQ management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly desired:

• Experience in working in the wind farm industry.
• Trade qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience in managing remote sites.
• Experience in High Voltage systems.
• Qualifications in HSEQ
