Summary

The Quality Project Engineer will assist the site manager in the Quality control in all Project activities. He will be part of the QHSE team and will report to the QHSE Manager and PM of the project.

Responsabilities

• Work in collaboration and coordination with the Construction Team.

• Ensure quality, HSE and environmental requirements, including site reporting and record keeping, are maintained and adhered to by site staff and subcontractors.

• Establish detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are.

• Inspect components and materials supplied by Goldwind for defects and report deviations.

• Prepare checklists and follow up on deviations upon receipt of components.

• Prepare checklists and follow up on deviations at the different stages of wind turbine installation for partial and final releases from the client.

• Prepare reports on faults, Draft NCR and register in FEMS or other apps and follow up on corrective measures until closure, collect and summarize site information, draft one page report.

• Generate KPIs to identify improvements and deviations in the process/flow.

• Support the construction team in resolving disputes or controversies.

• Supervise the work of contracting companies, maintaining close compliance with work safety guidelines, quality, manuals and work instructions.

• Present inductions to all site personnel, including subcontractors and visitors. Attend meetings with the client.

• Participate and coordinate daily follow-up meetings with the work team.

• Carry out or participate relevant quality communications such as region/wind farm/Project quality meetings, campaigns, and global quality meetings.

• Inspections on wind turbines. Organize, push and carry out quality inspections in different phase, draft quality inspection report.

• Assist/Lead in standards certification processes if necessary.

Availability to travel and make visits to other projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate in engineering or related field.

• Previous experience of at least 3/5 years in similar positions.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.

• Knowledge of the renewable energy industry (desirable)

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems efficiently.

• Languages: Intermediate English (written and oral).
