Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in Ras Ghareeb. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the wind energy industry and be responsible for evaluating and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring strict compliance with quality standards, and implementing strategies to enhance product reliability. This role requires strong analytical abilities, technical expertise, and the capability to work collaboratively across departments to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze codes, specifications, and processes to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement quality control systems to enhance operational efficiency and product reliability.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Collaborate with operations managers and cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control measures and process improvements.
- Develop and execute corrective actions, solutions, and process enhancements to address quality issues effectively.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and alignment with quality objectives.
- Promote and foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience & Skills:
- Mandatory experience in the wind energy industry (manufacturing, operations, or quality assurance).
- Proven experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Hands-on experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and technical report writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
