Project Engineer

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will work onsite, assisting the project manager and project team to complete the construction work of the offshore wind farms.

Location: Bolikhamxai or Savannakhet Province, Laos

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the installation of wind turbine units, and control the quality and safety during the installation process.
• Be responsible for site cable laying and wiring work.
• Be responsible for commissioning of offshore wind turbine units.
• Swiftly respond to issues and conduct troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, software issues as well as component replacement, ensuring the project continuity.
• Work to the highest HSE standards whilst ensuring that project targets are met.
• Other tasks assigned by the management team.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2-3 years' experience in electrical, mechanical engineering.
• Be able to climb a wind turbine and perform demanding physical work in heights as well as in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license in Laos is desirable.
• GWO or other industrial certifications nice to have.
• A significant understanding of and commitment to the standard of HSE in the wind farms.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken. Chinese literate is a plus.
• Enjoy working in teams and communicating with various stakeholders.
